Winners of the last request for proposals: request for proposals dated 18 July 2016 related to the awarding of the custodian bank and central administration mandates
FDC's Board of Directors approved, during its meeting of 16 June 2016, to launch a request for proposals regarding the attribution of the custodian bank and central administration mandate as well as a standby mandate on behalf of FDC's SICAV. In fact, the existing legislation with regard to public tenders foresees a maximum period of ten years for all mandate awarded to a service provider, knowing that the mandate covering custodian bank and central administration functions between FDC's SICAV and Citibank Europe plc (Luxembourg branch) has been concluded in August 2007.
The contract notice of the given request for proposals has been published on the 18 July 2016 at the Portail des marchés publics du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg, in the Luxembourg press and in the Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU).
The awarding of the contract has been pronounced by FDC's Board of Directors on the 15 December 2016. Thus, the mandate has been re-assigned to Citibank Europe plc (Luxembourg branch) whereas the standby mandate has been awarded to RBC Investor Services Bank S.A.
